What a good day for a run

It was cool outside, so that I didn’t sweat quite as bad as normal. But the air was crisp and there wasn’t a lot of sun but the sky wasn’t overcast either. There were a lot of other joggers and bikers on the path, but it was peaceful. My friend, whom I have dubbed “Hardcore” on account of the fact that she ran 26.2 miles in two right shoes because she had packed the wrong ones! She says, let’s go 6 today and I agreed. Then we lost track of how far we went and my GPS wasn’t working right…so she said I think I remember when to turn around. Then we realized we had gone too far. But it felt great. The furthest I have gone since surgery and I still feel good. No pain in the knee, though a little pain in the ankles, I think maybe they are trying to tel me to lose some weight! lol God bless and keep on running.

That’s a good pace for that distance. A good building block for the future.
