I forgot to mention…
I was able to try something new. I found a store that sold the GU Chomps and I tried them on my long run last Friday. They tasted great, nothing like that nasty gel stuff - though I did find rasberry gel by Hammer okay - and the texture was good, not to mention the carbs were higher. However, the one problem I had with them was trying to take the time to eat them while running. It is very hard to maintain your breathing while chewing and swallowing! So I guess it depends on how much you hate the taste of gels! I think I will experiment more with the flavors of the gels - this week I am going to try GU Triberry as suggested by princessRN - and see what I can find. God bless and keep on running!

Yes they are tynchy. Good luck with the Chomps. Remember that there are 8 chomps in each package and you really only need 4 to get 25 grams of carbs! So you can get two servings out of each bag. Blessings.
